Uninstall antitheft
Updated October 20, 2026
You can remove antitheft at any time. It resists being stopped by other programs, on purpose, so remove it with its own uninstaller, as below, not by deleting its files or ending its service.
Its records on the computer (alerts, activity, your decisions) stay unless you ask the uninstaller to delete them too. Your account and any subscription stay as they are: cancel or delete them in your account.
Windows
Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find Antitheft and choose Uninstall. To also delete its records, run this in PowerShell opened as administrator:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "C:\Program Files\Antitheft\uninstall.ps1" -Purge
macOS
In the antitheft app: Settings > General > Uninstall antitheft. Or in Terminal:
curl -fsSL https://antitheft.pro/antitheft.sh | bash -s uninstall
Add --purge at the end to also delete its records, and --disable-auditing to turn macOS auditing
back off.
Linux
In a terminal:
curl -fsSL https://antitheft.pro/antitheft.sh | bash -s uninstall
Add --purge at the end to also delete its records. Restart the computer afterwards to detach antitheft's kernel
hooks completely. If you installed antitheft from a .deb or .rpm package, remove it with your package manager instead, for
example sudo apt-get remove antitheft.
